AMD Environmental Announce Major Business Expansion With New North Office

AMD Environmental are delighted to announce the launch of a new North Office. Leading the office and operations are Director’s George Craig and Brian McFarlane, both highly experienced and respected within the sector. They are joining the AMD Group leadership team, headquartered just outside London, and will be spearheading the growth of the M&E and energy & carbon reduction services into the North of England and all over Scotland.

Choosing the historic city of Edinburgh, this move is the first of many business developments planned for 2022. Based at Edinburgh Park, a modern and ever evolving Business Park, the North Office is ideally placed to deliver the planned expansion beyond the largely Southern and Midlands centric business to date.  Brian says, “We see that this extension to the AMD Environmental family will offer significant value and operational benefits to all existing clients, and will enable a full layer of service delivery to anticipated new client relationships.”

AMD Environmental Co-Managing Director, Marcus Sullivan comments, “The opening of our North Office, and George and Brian joining our growing family, marks a significant stage in our business development and will inexorably lead to enhanced service opportunities and its timing could not be better to build on our successes and leadership in energy and carbon reduction projects recently delivered across the UK for major clients.”

Fellow Co-Managing Director, Jon King comments, “I’d like to welcome George and Brian to the board. Both are driven individuals joining us at a time of significant positive change in our business evolution.  As a Design and Build Specialist AMD Environmental thrives on complex and challenging projects brought to our team at an early stage.  For 50 years, AMD Environmental has prided itself on delivering first-class services for our clients in the traditional Office and Industrial Fit-out sector, and delivering direct to end-users in plant replacement and infrastructure projects.  Our existing National Frameworks are a perfect example of a long-term successful partnership and we look to further these frameworks and deliver on the same basis for new clients.”

There is now a growing demand for our specialist upgrade works and we carry these out from initial inception on the design side, right through to installation, commissioning, and handover.  These plant replacement projects generally involve advice and installation of low carbon/low energy technologies, and we now have a huge number of products and solutions to bring to our clients on multiple building types.
