Refurbishment Programme for Retail Bank

Refurbishment programme started in 2013 and is ongoing. It includes replacement of all HVAC system, and lighting. This included a redesign to meet the client’s new design standard following input from AMD. The new design standard included, reduction of luminaires and reduced equipment capacity. Ensuring that the design meets design standards whilst not over engineering and therefore reducing capital expenditure. AMD are one of the approved contractors who also deliver these projects.

ENERGY SAVINGS: An energy efficiency model was carried out at the beginning of the process and used to extrapolate for all future works. The model formed a basis of a shared savings with the client and has been audited to ensure accuracy. Values are based on all projects completed up until the end of 2016 which had savings as follows (which have been audited and agreed by independent auditors. Calculated Savings of 8,550 MWh per annum. Operational Savings of £9.7 million expected over the life cycle. Other benefits are £311,000 in Enhanced Capital Allowance benefits; and 4,035 tCO2 reduction in the first year.
