Stage 1 – Compliance

BRUKL and SBEM calculation – BRUKL – produced to demonstrate compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.

Green house gas reporting GHG – Tracks facility level emissions sources and the associated emissions quantified using standardised methods. This can be completed for your business premises or your entire organisation.

Building compliance advice – We advise our clients on the best, most cost-effective way of obtaining a PASS Rating. The Target Emission Rate is not always easy to hit and so it is paramount that we get as close to that target as possible.

Stage 2 – Certifications

TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections – Full review of your air conditioning systems and appraisal of whether the system is adequate and effective for the square footage.

Display Energy Certificates – are designed to show the energy performance of public buildings. They use a scale that runs from ‘A’ to ‘G’ – A being the most efficient and ‘G’ being the least.

Energy Performance Certificates – the purpose is to indicate how energy efficient a building is. The better the rating the more energy efficient a building is. This report highlights how costly it is to heat a light in your property and what is carbon dioxide emissions are likely to be. An EPC also includes information on what energy efficiency rating could be made if you proceeded with the recommended improvements and highlight cost effective ways to achieve a better rating.

Stage 3 – Consultancy

Recommendation reports – AMD can provide a detailed summary of products/services available to its client following the EPC. These reports will include all variable upgrade options.

Payback period study – brief outline high level produced by SBEM For each recommendation indicative paybacks are noted. These are provided in the following categories:

  • Short term payback (less than three years), medium term payback
    (between three and seven years),
  • Long term payback (greater than seven years)

Energy saving opportunity scheme – ESOS – provides customers with information on energy and carbon saving (existing vs new) this reports covers every element of recommendations produced by AMD. This report can be provided as a high level summary of savings or a detailed report being issued including current and future energy demands as well as the power output of the building.

Renewable heat incentive – Providing customers with information, grants and schemes which are regularly updated by the government Net-Zero & Low carbon reduction consultancy.

Carbon offsetting and insetting advisory service

  • Offsetting – investing into projects e.g. tree planting
  • Insetting – reducing carbon emissions within your own value chain

Asset rating recommendations – We will assess all the buildings assets and produce a report which includes solutions to improve the EPC and additional recommendations to improve the whole building energy efficiency and reduce costs.

Carbon saving and emissions report – is generated using the SBEM software with is related to the same inputs of the EPC and provides you with detailed information regarding the carbon emission ( tonnesCO2/kWh). In the same report there is recommendation section which includes the carbon and consumption reduction in addition to energy bill saving.

Stage 4 – Design, Install And Aftercare

Design - AMD have an in house team of designers that can review the
recommendations generated through our certificates and detailed reports
and design sustainable solutions best suited for your business.

Install – AMD are able to quote and carry out installation works of any scale
managed by our experienced and technical project managers to ensure the
successful delivery of each programme.

Building Management – Managing buildings consumption through BMS System which interfaces with all the mechanical steps.

Facilities Maintenance Services – Following any install AMD can offer
planned preventative maintenance, a reactive service, full asset audit,
equipment performance monitoring, or a forward maintenance plan as part of
our Facilities Maintenance Services.

Stage 5 –Delivery Of Results

New EPC certificate to be issued on completion – Following the new installation, AMD will provide you with a new EPC certificate which will highlight your improved EPC rating.

Energy Bills Savings Report - AMD can provide you with a breakdown comparison on your energy bills savings following the installation of recommended works.

Carbon reduction offerings - Expert advice on assessing carbon emissions and guidance on how to target and implement carbon reduction initiatives.

CSR & social – Enhance CSR and Social Value Offering.

Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) – the SEG Smart Export Guarantee is a government scheme which supports renewable energy generation owners by buying the surplus energy generation. As the prices depends upon the type of energy generation technology and on the building energy efficiency AMD will guide you to reach the highest rates of SEG by improving the building efficiency and recommending which is the most suitable energy generation technology.
